Hydro One, Ontario's largest electricity provider, has reached tentative labour agreements with the Power Workers' Union that represents its frontline workers.
Details of the new labour pact have not yet been made public.
However, Hydro One said the main agreement covers frontline workers, while a separate customer service operations collective agreement involves staff in customer facing roles.
Union members must now vote on the new collective agreements by the end of July. If ratified, the new contracts will run until September 30, 2025.
The new deals provide labour peace at the utility that covers Canada’s most populous province.
