A New Jersey-based micro cap made headlines today after the company announced that its joint venture in Bangladesh has received $410,000 of new orders. A subsidiary of Lifequest World Corp. (OTC-PNK:LQWC) developed the world’s only highly scalable onsite sludge, odor and chemical free sewage wastewater treatment technology.
Ekram Zaman, Executive Director of Biopipe Innovation (the subsidiary), stated "the sales pipeline remains robust and we expect to close a few more before the end of the year." With this optimistic view from a company executive paired with the new order announcement is a huge step for this small company.
Traders seemed to share Mr. Zaman’s optimism as they grabbed up shares to an intraday high of $0.22/share (+31.3%). This move is a breath of fresh air as it partially broke the downtrend the stock has been witnessing over the last few months.
