I-Minerals Makes Beeline for Higher Stock Values

Once again, as is common among Canadian stocks, resources are proving to be where it’s at. For on Wednesday, Vancouver-based I-Minerals lnc. (TSX-Venture: IMA) provided investors with a status update on its ongoing pre-feasibility study on the Bovill Kaolin halloysite & metakaolin project, located in Idaho. Based upon the completion schedule, management expects to have the PFS results for release within 30 days.

Wednesday’s news release revealed that mineral marketing and testing activities are progressing very well. I-Minerals' halloysite is being tested in increasing amounts around the globe, with significant interest being expressed by major Asian corporations.

What’s more, the company has received ASTM C618 results for water demand and Strength Activity Index for its metakaolin product from bulk samples generated from the recent pilot plant and flash calcination run.

Shares vaulted one penny, or 33.3%, to four cents, on volume of 51,000 shares.
