Cannabis Company Tilray Appoints New Senior Executives

Canadian cannabis company Tilray Inc.(NASDAQ:TLRY) is shaking up its senior leadership team.

The Toronto-based company has announced changes to its senior executives, including a new chief financial officer. Tilray has named Michael Kruteck as its new chief financial officer. He replaces Mark Castaneda, who will take on a role focused more on strategic business development.

Tilray says Kruteck has served in senior financial roles at Molson Coors Beverage Co. and most recently as CFO for Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy.

The company also announced the appointment of former Revlon executive Jon Levin as Tilray’s new chief operating officer. Levin was most recently general manager for U.S. mass markets at Revlon and responsible for the consumer products sold through major retailers in the United States.

Tilray Chief Executive Brendan Kennedy said the pair of new executives will provide extensive expertise in their respective fields and help the cannabis producer to grow its business within Canada and internationally.
