Why Investors Should Buy What Nvidia Buys

Anything that NVIDIA (NVDA) buys almost always goes up. When it invested billions in Nokia (NOK), shares traded above the $10 level, a price not seen in a decade.

In February, NVIDIA invested $30 billion into OpenAI. That remains the biggest commitment, compared to its latest purchases.

In January, NVIDIA invested $2 billion into CoreWeave. It invested the same amount in Nebius (NBIS). The two firms are in an AI infrastructure deployment partnership. That included fleet management and inference.

NVIDIA invested $2 billion in Marvell Technology (MRVL). As of May 8, MRVL stock gained 100.2% YTD. The stock price doubled from its 52-week low (200.11%).

The investment in Corning (GLW) sent the stock to a high of around $195.81. Still, momentum traders sold down GLW stock in the last six trading sessions.

Last week, NVIDIA invested in IREN. In the agreement, IREN will deploy up to 5 gigawatts of NVIDIA’s infrastructure designs, called DSX. That will power AI workloads globally.

The most probable blockbuster investment is in Anthropic. NVIDIA participated in a funding round. It also invested in Elon Musk’s xAI. After that happened, xAI merged with SpaceX. Stock markets have a chance to invest in SpaceX when it starts trading through an initial public offering.
