At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index climbed 0.08%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were also up. The TSX Venture rose 0.27%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.40%.

- Lundin Gold Inc (TSX:LUG): Rose 4.61% or 1.43 points to 32.47.
- Capstone Mining (TSX:CS): Increased 3.64% or 0.32 points to 9.12.
Top Losers:
- Tilray (TSX:TLRY): Declined 2.51% or 0.05 points to 1.94.
- Bombardier Inc (TSX:BBDb): Dropped 2.60% or 2.480 points to 93.000.
- NexGen Energy (TSX:NXE): Fell 1.91% or 0.190 points to 9.780.
In Commodities Trading:
- March Brent Oil Contract climbed by 0.60% or 0.46 points to 76.62 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for February delivery rose 0.43 points to 73.75 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for February delivery increased 21.11 points to 2,693.51 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable at 1.4402.
- EUR/CAD is trading at 1.4844.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 108.945.
