At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index dropped 0.23%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were mixed. The TSX Venture rose 0.35%, while the Smallcap was down by 0.68%.

- Lightspeed Commerce (TSX:LSPD): Rose 1.96% or 0.49 points to 25.49.
- Energy Fuels Inc (TSX:EFR): Climbed 1.33% or 0.130 points to 9.870.
Top Losers:
- Bombardier Inc (TSX:BBDb): Declined 9.15% or 9.740 points to 96.670.
- MEG Energy Corp (TSX:MEG): Dropped 3.84% or 1.00 points to 25.02.
- Lundin Mining (TSX:LUN): Fell 3.64% or 0.520 points to 13.770.
In Commodities Trading:
- January Brent Oil Contract climbed by 1.15% or 0.83 points to 73.31 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for January delivery rose 0.87 points to 69.81 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for February delivery increased 5.24 points to 2,647.84 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is just above 1.40 at 1.4097.
- EUR/CAD is stable at 1.4803.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.875.
