At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index dropped 0.31%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were also down. The TSX Venture fell 0.58%, while the Smallcap was down by 0.83%.

- Bausch Health (TSX:BHC): Climbed 6.03% or 0.66 points to 11.61.
- Orla Mining (TSX:OLA): Rose 3.39% or 0.210 points to 6.400.
- K92 Mining (TSX:KNT): Increased 2.82% or 0.26 points to 9.49.
Top Losers:
- Baytex Energy Corp (TSX:BTE): Declined 7.43% or 0.330 points to 4.110.
- Vermilion Energy (TSX:VET): Fell 7.34% or 1.03 points to 13.01.
- MEG Energy Corp (TSX:MEG): Dropped 6.21% or 1.73 points to 26.11.
In Commodities Trading:
- December Brent Oil Contract dropped by 4.79% or 3.71 points to 73.75 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for November delivery fell 3.58 points to 70.25 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for December delivery rose 1.35 points to 2,666.95 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is over 1.38.
- EUR/CAD is at 1.50.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 102.832.
