TSX Composite undecided today; shares mixed at market open

Investing.com - Canadian equities started mixed on Thursday. The top gainers were Capped Materials, Capped Energy and Capped Industrials indices; while Capped Financial, Capped Consumer Staples and Capped Real Estate were down.

At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell slightly. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were up. The TSX Venture rose 0.21%, while the Smallcap climbed by 0.54%.

  • Torex Gold (TSX:TXG): Climbed 7.16% or 1.91 points to 28.57.
