TSX Composite mixed today; manufacturing PMI data release on calendar

Investing.com - Canadian equities started mainly down on Tuesday. The top losers were Capped Consumer Staples, Capped Industrials and Capped Financial indices. Capped Energy and Capped Materials were up.

At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell slightly, but looks undecided where to go from there. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were up. The TSX Venture rose 0.38%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.55%.

Eldorado Gold (TSX:ELD): Climbed 3.19% or 0.75 points to 24.26.

K92 Mining (TSX:KNT): Rose 2.92% or 0.23 points to 8.10.

Denison Mines (TSX:DML): Increased 3.25% or 0.08 points to 2.54.
