In Singapore, the Straits Times index lost 32.85 points, or 0.6%, to 5,634.82.
In Korea, the Kospi index took on 32.85 points, or 0.6%, 7,003.74.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 slid 130.02 points, or 0.9%, to 13,680.49.
In Australia, the ASX 200 recovered 67.67 points, or 0.8%, to 8,682.10.
