In Japan, the Nikkei 225 bounced 438.9 points, or 0.7%, to 63,923.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng improved 46.54 points, or 0.2%, to 24,713.78.

In Shanghai, the CSI index regained 30.23 points, or 0.7%, to 4,480.27.
In Korea, the Kospi Index jumped 90.71 points, or 1.4%, to 6,717.97
In Singapore, the Straits Times index subtracted 3.23 points, or 0.1%, to 5,636.41.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index rebounded 337.41 points, or 0.7%, to 45,848.90
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 gained 138.5 points, or 1%, to 13,622.72
In Australia, the ASX 200 moved higher 24.07 points, or 0.3%. to 8,696.54.
