Equities in the Asia-Pacific region were divided between big winners and big losers Wednesday, though indexes in Japan and Hong Kong were pounded once again.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 declined another 126.55 points, or 0.2%, to 65,142.78.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng waned 42.22 points, or 0.2%, to 25,274.96.

In Shanghai, the CSI index regained 13.86 points, or 0.3%, to 4,572.60.
In Korea, the Kospi Index hiked 97.12 points, or 1.4%, to 7,051.64
In Singapore, the Straits Times index dipped 37.82 points, or 0.7%, to 5,729.63.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index recovered 77.58 points, or 0.2%, to 47,183.36
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 restocked 26.53 points, or 0.2%, to 13,819.43.
In Australia, the ASX 200 lost 9.39 points, or 0.1%. to 8,911.43
