Canada Post has suspended all mail delivery in Nova Scotia due to widespread flooding in the Atlantic province.
Nova Scotia experienced 250 millimetres of heavy rainfall in recent days, washing out roads and damaging homes. The province remains under a state of emergency.
Canada Post has issued a red alert for the entire province, saying it is suspending mail delivery in all communities. No timeline has been given for a resumption of service.
Nova Scotians are being advised to check delivery service alerts on Canada Post’s website for updates and information.
