In Japan, the Nikkei 225 regained 890.37 points, or 1.4%, to 66,216.79.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng soared 203.42 points, or 0.8%, to 25,698.49.
In other markets;
In Shanghai, the CSI index recovered 4.06 points, or 0.1%, to 4,592.75.
In Korea, the Kospi Index returned to positive values, picking up 381.41 points, or 5.9%, to 6,852.58.
In Singapore, the Straits Times index dropped 22.33 points, or 0.4%, to 5,671.91.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index restored 214.39 points, or 0.5%, to 44,933.74
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 receded 9.85 points, or 0.1%, to 13,919.82
In Australia, the ASX 200 surged 29.98 points, or 0.3%. to 9,083.75
