In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng rebounded 23.92 points, or 0.1%, to 25,495.07.

In Shanghai, the CSI index docked 137.12 points, or 2.9%, to 4,588.70.
In Korea, the Kospi Index surrendered 398.66 points, or 5.8%, to 6,471.17.
In Singapore, the Straits Times index dropped 7.16 points, or 0.1%, to 5,694.24.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index withered 589.33 points, or 1.3%, to 44,719.35
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 climbed 63.49 points, or 0.5%, to 13,929.67
In Australia, the ASX lost 16.26 points, or 0.2%. to 9,053.77
