Peller, Algoma Central, Cabral at 52-Week Highs on News

Andrew Peller Limited (T.ADW-A) Hit a new 52-week high of $7.99. Andrew Peller today announced the receipt of the final order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) with respect to the previously-announced plan of arrangement transaction involving Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited and 18013632 Canada Inc., a newly formed and wholly-owned subsidiary of Fairfax.

Algoma Central Corp (T.ALC) Hit a new 52-week high of $24.49. Algoma reported second quarter revenues of $258,273, compared to revenues of $211,715 in 2025. Net earnings for the second quarter were $35,585 compared to $32,883 in 2025.

Cabral Gold Inc. (V.CBR) Hit a new 52-week high of $1.29. Cabral provide an update on construction and commissioning activities at its Phase 1 gold-in-oxide heap leach project at the Cuiú Cuiú Gold District, Brazil.

Gelum reported that it has completed additional rock geochemical sampling at the Las Tinajas Gold Project covering 2,600 hectares in the north end of the Maricunga Gold Belt, Chile. Las Tinajas is located 120 km northeast of Copiapó, in the Atacama Region of northern Chile.

HPL Electric & Power Ltd (V.HPL) Hit a new 52-week high of 30 cents. HPL last month said it raised C$4.1 million as it closed a private placement of share units. The company placed 27.51-million units priced at C$0.15 and made up of a share and one half of a transferable three-year warrant to buy a share for C$0.25.

Logan Energy Corp (V.LGN) Hit a new 52-week high of $1.10. Logan reported second-quarter Adjusted Funds Flow increased to $47.8 million ($0.07 per share, diluted) for the three months ended June 30, 2026, an increase of 76% from $27.2 million ($0.04 per share, diluted) reported in the comparative three-month period of 2025.

Magellan Aerospace Corp (T.MAL) Hit a new 52-week high of $38.70. Thursday, Magellan released its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Revenue totaled $305.5 billion, compared to $249.8 billion in the prior-year quarter. Net income came to $19.8 million, compared to $6.4 million.

Microbix Biosystems Inc. (T.MBX) Hit a new 52-week high of 32 cents. Reported Q3 revenue was $4,059,303, a 17% increase from Q3 2025 revenues of $3,472,182. Included were antigen revenues of $2,190,812 (2025 - $1,832,134), which were up 20% from last year. Net loss of $806,762 a significant improvement over Q3 2025 operating loss and net loss of $1,642,776.
