Activist investor ValueAct reported a 9.96% stake in Motorola Solutions Inc., (NYSE: MSI) maker of walkie-talkies and radio systems, and said it would talk to the company's board about ways to enhance shareholder value.
ValueAct said the shares were undervalued and that it may talk to other shareholders of Motorola Solutions and other interested parties about the company's operations.
Motorola shares opened Tuesday trading down 13 cents from Monday's close at $68.07 U.S., within a 52-week trading range of $56.40 U.S. to $71.57 U.S.
