In Taiwan, the Taiex index popped 663.16 points, or 1.5%, to 45,832.62
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 acquired 20.49 points, or 0.2%, to 14,013.21
In Australia, the ASX 200 lost 36.78 points, or 0.4%. to 9,127.80.
