Issued on behalf of Integrated Quantum Technologies
VANCOUVER, BC, Baystreet.ca News Commentary — Two of the most powerful forces in technology are on a collision course. Artificial intelligence is pulling unprecedented volumes of sensitive data into systems that are notoriously hard to secure, and quantum computing is steadily eroding the encryption that protects almost all of the world’s digital secrets[1]. The cost of getting data security wrong is enormous — estimates of the global annual cost of cybercrime range from well over $1 trillion to, by some projections, several trillion dollars — and the quantum era threatens to widen the gap.
That collision is pulling Integrated Quantum Technologies (CSE: ICS) (OTCQB: IGCRF) (FSE: Y4G), IonQ, Inc. (NYSE: IONQ), BTQ Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: BTQ), Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC), and D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS) into the spotlight.
The market for protecting data against the coming quantum threat is small today but growing explosively. Analysts project the post-quantum cryptography market alone will expand several-fold over the second half of this decade, growing at compound annual rates few technology categories can match, as governments mandate the migration to quantum-resistant systems[2]. The catalyst was the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology finalizing its first post-quantum cryptography standards — a move that flipped enterprise spending from “if” to “when,” with government deadlines now attached.
A flagship launch on a marquee stage
Integrated Quantum Technologies — the operating name of Integrated Cyber Solutions Inc. (CSE: ICS) — made its debut at Snowflake’s annual Snowflake Summit 26 conference to launch VEIL™ on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud on June 3, 2026. VEIL™, the company’s first commercial product, secures data before it enters machine-learning pipelines by removing personally identifiable information (PII) while conserving and enhancing data utility — a privacy-preserving framework built for a world where the data itself is the prize.
“Our focus is simple: protect the data that powers ML models without limiting their value and without willingly exposing it by using aging frameworks,” said Jeremy Samuelson, EVP, AI & Innovation at Integrated Quantum Technologies. “The time has come where we need to stop giving attackers any chance of getting what they want. We need to remove it instead. VEIL™ does that — it removes PII and transforms data into secure, ultra compact representations, delivering super-charged ML models and next-gen security.”
“As organizations scale their use of AI, protecting sensitive data and maintaining trust remain critical priorities across the industry,” said Amy Kodl, SVP, Worldwide Alliances & Channels at Snowflake. VEIL™ is now available to Snowflake AI Data Cloud customers and is designed to address both AI-automated attacks today and the post-quantum “harvest now, decrypt later” threat — in which adversaries store encrypted data now to decrypt once quantum hardware matures. It is the first product under the company’s broader AIQu™ platform, alongside its Managed Services and SecureGuard360™ monitoring offerings.

Other industry developments and happenings in the market include:
IonQ, Inc. (NYSE: IONQ) is the bellwether of the quantum-computing sector — and, crucially, also a player in quantum security. The trapped-ion quantum-computing leader has been on an aggressive acquisition campaign, including a controlling stake in ID Quantique, a pioneer in quantum-safe cryptography and quantum key distribution, alongside quantum-networking and satellite assets. IonQ embodies both sides of the quantum story at once: it is building the very machines that threaten today’s encryption, while also acquiring the tools to defend against them.
For Integrated Quantum Technologies, IonQ is the clearest signal of how seriously the market takes the quantum threat — the same threat VEIL™ is designed to help enterprises get ahead of.
BTQ Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: BTQ) is a post-quantum cryptography pure-play, developing quantum-secure infrastructure, hardware and protocols designed to protect networks against quantum-enabled attacks. As one of the more focused public names built specifically around the post-quantum transition, BTQ is pursuing the same fundamental thesis as Integrated Quantum: that the migration to quantum-resistant security is not optional but inevitable, and that early movers stand to benefit as regulatory deadlines force adoption.
BTQ illustrates the pure-play end of the post-quantum opportunity — smaller, specialized companies racing to build the cryptographic plumbing of the quantum era, the same wave Integrated Quantum is riding from the AI-data-security side.
Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) brings the hardware dimension. The programmable-chip maker launched what it has described as the industry’s first secure control FPGA family with full support for the U.S. government’s CNSA 2.0 post-quantum cryptography requirements, positioning it as an early beneficiary of near-term PQC adoption across automotive, industrial and IoT markets. Lattice shows how post-quantum security is being embedded at the silicon level — a complementary layer to the data-level protection Integrated Quantum is building, and further evidence that the migration is already underway in shipping products.
D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS) rounds out the group as one of the most established commercial quantum-computing companies, focused on quantum optimization and, increasingly, broader quantum systems. Like IonQ, D-Wave represents the advancing capability that makes post-quantum security urgent in the first place: as commercial quantum computing matures, the timeline on the “harvest now, decrypt later” threat shortens. D-Wave underscores why a product like VEIL™, built to reduce reliance on encryption alone, is arriving at a moment of rising attention.
Across all four, the common thread is the one driving interest in Integrated Quantum Technologies: quantum computing is advancing, the encryption securing the world’s data is on a regulatory clock, and AI is multiplying the volume of sensitive data at risk. The difference is scale and stage — these peers are larger, more established names across quantum hardware, cryptography and chips, while Integrated Quantum is an early-commercial company launching its first product into one of enterprise software’s largest platforms.

What to watch from here
For Integrated Quantum Technologies specifically, the catalysts now cluster around adoption. The first checkpoint is the uptake of VEIL™ among joint Snowflake customers; from there, investors will watch whether that adoption converts into revenue, whether the company expands the AIQu™ platform with follow-on products, and whether it lands additional partnerships or certifications that make its technology easier for large, regulated enterprises to deploy.
None of this changes the fundamental reality that Integrated Quantum Technologies is an early-stage, micro-cap company whose first commercial product is just reaching the market, in a sector crowded with far larger and better-funded competitors. But the combination of a differentiated “remove the data” approach, a launch on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, and a post-quantum security market being pulled forward by regulation gives the story real relevance for its size. The quarters ahead will determine whether the VEIL™ debut becomes a durable business.
