Mid-Week Stock Winners: PLTR, DELL, BAC, and More

After finding support in the low $20s, Palantir (PLTR) recently closed at $25.82. The software firm, which assists in counterterrorism investigations, may win bigger contracts with the U.S. defense and intelligence community.

Palantir may expand its offering with new AI-powered applications. That would lead to a growth in enterprise software company customers.

Dell Technologies (DELL) bounced back by 5% on Tuesday to close at $149.15. Analysts at Morgan Stanley reiterated its “top pick” ranking for DELL stock. Dell has growth momentum from the sale of servers for the artificial intelligence market.

Investors should not chase DELL on its enterprise sales prospects. The PC market may slow its overall growth. The industry touts AI PCs which customers may not need. They may run ChatGPT on the cloud. If corporate customers require security and privacy, they may buy an enhanced subscription version of ChatGPT instead.

In the financial sector, Bank of America (BAC) may potentially break out above $40.00. Net interest income should increase by around 5%, assuming the Fed does not cut rates more than twice.

Investors may hold a basket of bank stocks that includes Wells Fargo (WFC), Citigroup (C), Goldman Sachs (GS), and JP Morgan (JPM).
