CrowdStrike, Dynatrace Team up on Legacy Deal

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) and Dynatrace (NYSE: DT) today announced a strategic partnership to disrupt legacy SIEM and observability.

Available today, three new integrations connect the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform with Dynatrace's AI Observability platform and log management capabilities, helping customers accelerate threat investigations, reduce costs, and gain greater control over their data.

“Legacy platforms force enterprises to move, duplicate, and pay to analyze logs and other telemetry trapped across disconnected systems,” reads this morning’s news release.

“CrowdStrike and Dynatrace are challenging this model with federated search, shared security and operational context, and flexible log and telemetry routing, delivering a faster, more cost-effective alternative without vendor lock-in.”

"The archaic SIEM platforms of yesteryear were built to collect data, not stop breaches," said CrowdStrike Chief Business Officer Daniel Bernard. "They've turned security into a tax on data. CrowdStrike and Dynatrace are flipping that model on its head. We're bringing together best-in-class AI-native cybersecurity and observability to help customers move faster, spend less, and own their enterprise data destinies."

“As AI-driven enterprises evolve toward more agentic operations, security and observability need to work together, not in silos,” said Chief Customer Officer Steve McMahon, Chief Customer Officer, Dynatrace.

CRWD shares descended 65 cents to $249.78, first thing Monday morning, while those for DT shares –handed back $1.02, or 1.8%, to $56.67.
