Loblaw And DoorDash Partner On Grocery Delivery Service

Grocer Loblaw Cos. (L) and food delivery company DoorDash (DASH) are launching a new
rapid grocery delivery service in Canada.

Customers will be able to order food and other items from Loblaw’s various retail chains,
including Loblaws, Superstore and Shoppers Drug Mart, for delivery by DoorDash within 30
minutes.

The collaboration is being rolled out in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary to start, with plans to
expand the service nationwide in coming months.

Loblaw has an existing grocery delivery partnership with Instacart, but the 30-minute delivery
window will be exclusive to DoorDash, the company said in a news release.

The expansion within Canada comes as DoorDash's share price has fallen 55% from its peak
last November. Loblaw’s stock is up 8% year to date at $111.33 per share.
