Rubrik Wins AHA Designation, Shares Jump

Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, is now an American Hospital Association (AHA) Preferred Cybersecurity Provider. Rubrik is offering cyber resilience and data protection tools, ransomware training, and financial risk analysis to nearly 5,000 AHA member hospitals.
“U.S. healthcare,” read this morning’s news release, “is at a breaking point. Ransomware and other cyberattacks can force total facility shutdowns, a crisis that is life or death for patients, especially in communities with no other treatment options.
“A cyberattack against a hospital, which disrupts or delays healthcare delivery, is more than a technical issue; it is a threat to life crime,” said John Riggi, National Advisor for Cybersecurity and Risk at AHA. “Ransomware attacks that knock critical care systems offline threaten patient and community safety. As an AHA preferred provider for cyber resiliency, we can confidently recommend Rubrik as a reliable source to defend against and recover from sophisticated cyberthreats and ransomware attacks for our hospitals and healthcare system.”
The AHA’s Preferred Cybersecurity & Risk Provider Program identifies trusted providers with vetted services that can help hospitals and health systems protect their patients and operations from cyberattacks and physical threats.
The AHA represents nearly 90 percent of the nation’s hospitals and health systems, including more than 420,000 healthcare workers. With its AHA designation, Rubrik now offers hospital and health system leaders a concrete path to securing their infrastructure.
RBRK shares gained $1.26, or 2.4%, to $54.04.
