Wednesday's Stock Watch: Oracle, Broadcom, and Digital Realty

Throughout the year, Oracle (ORCL) trended higher, breaking out on Tuesday. ORCL stock added 11.4% after posting strong cloud services revenue.

In FQ1/2025, Oracle posted cloud services revenue growing by 21.3% Y/Y. SaaS has tailwinds as Oracle shifts to the autonomous database where it will achieve tremendous efficiencies. For example, it is moving Fusion and NetSuite to an Autonomous database. This removes human staff managing the Oracle database, saving customers money.

In the artificial intelligence segment, bottom fishers took advantage of Broadcom (AVGO) shares dipping in the last week. AVGO stock rebounded from a $135 low on September 9 to close at $148.21. B of A screened for stocks with the most positive earnings, price, and news media momentum. Broadcom, Eli Lilly (LLY), Oracle, and Apple (AAPL) were among the picks.

Watch for Digital Realty Trust (DLR) to continue its bullish momentum from yesterday. DLR stock is rewarding investors after it stabilized several joint venture opportunities in the last year. The firm completed most of its capital recycling effort. From here, it will enjoy positive pricing across most of its major markets.

DLR stock yields 3.16% in dividends. It set a baseline of 5% growth in 2025. In addition, the firm sees opportunities in realizing its development backlog. This comes online in 2025 and 2026. As a result, expect yields to rise.
