Watch Apple Ahead of iPhone 16 Glowtime Event

Apple (AAPL) is at a pivotal point in its declining growth phase. Berkshire Hathaway (BRK-B) unloaded around one-half of its stake in AAPL stock. Apple prevented a sell-off by announcing a $110 billion share buyback.

Astute investors expect that the buyback is only a temporary solution. Apple’s “Glowtime” event needs to impress iPhone users. Not only must the company refresh the iPhone 16 with practical functional additions, but it also needs to update its Watches.

The iPhone 16 will likely add a capture button. This enables users to conveniently take pictures with a button instead of using the touch screen.

Apple may increase the size of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.

Most critically, all new models should support Apple’s implementation of artificial intelligence. Apple calls its AI feature ‘Apple Intelligence.’

Next year, Apple may embrace OLED displays for all of its iPhone devices. Investors may explore buying Universal Display (OLED). This firm owns most of the OLED patents. The firm licenses OLED to firms including Samsung (SSNLF) and LG.

Risks

AAPL stock may continue its downtrend if the event leaves the media unimpressed. Still, if Apple does not increase prices, its iPhone user base may upgrade to the latest device.
